The League over the years has been proud of its link with and the continuing sponsorship of Worthington Draught Bitter.
The Worthington Mid-Shropshire Bowling League is based mainly in the Telford area and provides 8 divisions for its 28 affiliated clubs, which makes the league the largest in Shropshire. Each divisions has a maximum of 14 teams with a team consisting of 12 players. Divisions 1,2 and 3 play on Friday evenings whilst Division 4,5 & 6 play on Monday evenings. In 2006 Mid-Shropshire introduced two new divisions both playing on Saturdays one division provides afternoon bowling for its membership, whilst in the early evening Mid-Shropshire have taken the initiative of providing a Junior league for its under 18 bowlers.  The League is affiliated to the British Crown Green Bowling Association and the Shropshire Crown Green Bowling Association.
